If the plan pans out, piped gas connections will reach thousands of houses across the city, including new sectors along the Dwarka Expressway, over the next few years. Officials said on Friday that Haryana City Gas (HCG) Group has earmarked investment of Rs 500 crore to supply PNG to 3 lakh households in three years.

HCG Slashes CNG Prices for City

HCG Nagpur Private Limited, which had been contracted to supply the piped CNG gas to the city consumers rom this year by Government of India, has now been asked by the government not to wait for the construction and laying up o the construction and laying up of the pipelines and start distribution of CNG to the consumers in Nagpur city.

CNG to cost Rs 88/kg from August 15

Compressed natural gas (CNG) consumers have reasons to smile as prices the company selling the fuel here in the district has announced price cut of Rs. 4.04 per kg from August 15 as a part of 'Independence day offer'. From August 15 onwards, CNG will be available at a price of Rs 88 per kg. At present, it is being sold at Rs. 92.04 per kg.

CNG rates slashed from Rs. 92 to Rs. 88/kg

HCG Nagpur Private Limited, the city gas distributor form Nagpur, has slashed the rates of CNG to Rs. 88 per kg from Rs. 92.04. The new rates will effective from Independence Day. The price cut leads to a sizeable reduction in the margin of profit.
